We have update our membership for this semester. We began the cooperation project in the spring of 2017 with five other student unions (ASK, Helga, HUMAKO, METKA and O’Diako) and this autumn we will be able to enjoy the first fruits of the cooperation. With the cooperation we extend the contents of the membership and our member services. Now on our members can visit our offices which are found on Laurea campuses or go offices of our cooperation student unions. We have also developed together our web services like a chat and web store. Our renewed web store found from shop.laureamko.fi. The developing continues and we like to hear development wishes from our members.
The idea of our new membership is that our members will get more with one membership. Now at the first stage the services, products and events of all six student unions were added to the membership. In the products and events of student unions the members’ price is -50% (except for a few events as Annual Ball). The membership also now includes the Zone sport services (gyms, instructed classes and chance for ball game reservations). One more new thing in our membership is that it includes Yogobe yoga services (the value to the student is 199 €). Our goals is get more services which are included to the membership than just traditional discounts.
With our membership you also can order a student card or use digital student card which it is easy way to prove the student status to different discounts. Furthermore, you can vote in the council of representatives elections (31.10.-7.11.) and you can become an active. For example the registrations of candidates for the council of representatives is now in progress (1.-28.9.) and our tutor search will be in October.
