1. The Amazing Leppävaara Race 4.5.2011
The Amazing Leppävaara Race is here again. This time more beautiful than ever! Gather a small group together and come compete with other students. Amazing prizes for the winners! In this playful competion the group with the most points and the best-dressed group will be rewarded. The Race sets off in front of Laurea Leppävaara's main entrance at 5pm. The checkpoints will be both indoors and outdoors and they will consist of fun checkpoints and basic bar checkpoints. The after party will be in Helsinki in a night club to be announced later. There will be a Wappu pre-party for students held at Ateneum on Thursday 28.4. The eventful day is a part of the Art for us! series of events, and the day is executed by Suomen Lyyra and it´s partners. The entrance is free all day to Ateneum with a student card, so that you can get to know the Illusions of Reality exhibition as well as get into the mood of the approaching Wappu. LAUREAMKO´s photography course on May. The course is led by Otso Nuotio. In the photography course you will learn the basic of photographing . If you don´t have work for the summer, then do the summer studies. Finland's largest strategic alliance of universities of applied sciences, FUAS, offers its students new possibilities for building just the career paths than they want. FUAS offers students the possibility of taking degree studies in the form of summer studies. Studies included in their PSPs are free for students. Students must have summer studies approved for their PSPs in advance by a degree programme coordinator. Due date for enrolment is 29.4.
