Porvoo Power course is abouth to begin! The course starts 17.3 and continues until 14.4.2011. Time for belly- and butt-training is on Thursdays at 4.15 pm until 5.15 pm. During the course you have a chance to try on Zumba and different kind of aerobic. Course Fee is 23 € with a valid student card, for others 28 €. Latin dance course in Leppävaara! The course will start on 21.2 and it will continue until 18.4. Time for some dancing is on Mondays at 5.30 pm until 6.30 pm. Course fee is 36 € with a valid student card and for others 72 €.

LAUREAMKO arranges a sport course in Hyvinkää .The course will begin on Tuesday 8.3 and it continues until 19.4.2011 The lessions starts at 4 pm. During the course you have a opportunity to try on Zumba and to learn how to do a safely workout on the gym. Course fee is 18 € with a valid student card and for others 24 €.

The income is not checked when the aid is paid out, so you must make sure not to exceed the annual exempt amount. By cancelling or returning (by the end of March the following year) aid you can raise your exempt amount. If you exceed your exempt amount, you will be required to pay back the equivalent amount of Study Grant for Kela latest 31.3.

RaflaRumba is back!

The event takes place in Helsinki the 16^th of March. On that Wednesday the students from Laurea visit ten pubs in Helsinki and for every purchase (incl. food, non-alcoholic beverages) they get a marking on their party pass. If you bring the pass with at least 8 markings to the afterparty, you will get an overall badge! In every pub the prices are very suitable for a student budget! The afterparty starts at 9 pm in DOM Helsinki. The event starts at 4 pm at Amarillo (Mikonkatu)The price for the day and the afterparty is 6 Euros! You must sign up in groups of 2-6 people. Hey you, graduating in March, did you know that you can join Laurea's alumni network? When you join, your first membership benefit will be the Alumni Event on 7th April 2011. The main speaker in the event will be Hjallis Harkimo. The speeches will be in Finnish but the event is narrated also in English.
