2. Design a mascot for LAUREAMKO
LAUREAMKO will renew their website during this spring and one of the design renovations is to design a LAUREAMKO mascot. Your help is needed for this! The mascot will not only decorate the website but also represent LAUREAMKO on posters and different kinds of events. Theme for the mascot is not restricted. So be creative and design your own version. The best mascot will be rewarded. You can send your designs to: tiedotus (at) laureamko.fi
3. Find your own story
Group is meant for 20 to 29 year olds who experience melancholy, fatigue, loneliness, anxiety, or nervousness and want to come to the confidential group to reflect on the life situation with others of the same age. The participants discuss in peer groups current issues, such as mood, shyness, loneliness, social nervousness, study / work pressures and means to support wellbeing. Participants hopes are taken into account in the content of the group. The group is free of charge to participants.
Group starts: 15.3.2010 and meets on Mondays from 18.00 to 20.00, 10 + 1 times.
Meeting place: At Tapuli seurakuntakoti near Puistola’s train station.

4. GoExpo 2010 5.-7.3.2010
The spring sports season begins at the fair! Discover the tools, try the new sports and do some shopping! You can buy bikes, golf clubs, running shoes, back-packs and other accessories for exercise and outdoor activities from the fair - all conveniently at the same time. Come Check out the new releases of 2010! Ticket for the fair with student card is a fair price of 9 euros! Fitness, cycling, golf, hunting, fishing and touring exhibition offers a varied program for three days. 5. Lahti Ski Games 5.-7.3.2010
Lahti Ski Games welcomes members of the Students’ Sports Association (you are a member when you have LAUREAMKO student card), a warm welcome to the 85 Lahti Ski Games. Finland’s biggest winter sports event has gathered a huge audience again and again and the aim is to get and audience record. Program includes 8 World Cup qualifiers from cross-country skiing and ski jumping to the combined. 7. LAUREAMKO’s PUB CRAWL 17.3
LAUREAMKO wants you to come bar-hopping with us on 17th of March! The idea is to visit as many bars as you can and for very purchase you get a marking on your pass. With a full pass (or not-so-full ;)) you’ll get into the after party in Virgin Oil. The party is just for us! Price of all the fun is 6€. Signing up starts 1st of March in laureamko.fi, where you can also find more info. It doesn’t get better than this!
8. Helsinginkadun appro 15.4.
Appro is an event where students visit every bar at Helsinginkatu. LAUREAMKO has tickets for the popular Helsinginkadun appro on April! Tickets are traditionally sold out very fast, so use your chance and buy your ticket from LAUREAMKO! Ticket sale starts 22.2. at 9 am. 10. After Pancake Day
After Pancake Day at Porvoos Linnanmäki 24.2. Sled hills and fun time together. Bringing your own sled, bin bag, glider or any other sledding device will be a good idea. So grab your buddy and go sledding :)
11. Lemmenlautta cruise on the Baltic Sea
Lemmenlautta cruise is back! To celebrate 10-year anniversary we booked the entire ship just for the Lemmenlautta cruise. Theme of the festivities is castle banquet , so come as a princess, The President, prisoner or even as Count Dracula. Cabins are currently on sale at www.lemmenlautta.fi/en. Prices starting from 30 euros per person. Lemmenlautta cruises from Turku to the Baltic Sea, 18 - 19.3.2010. The event is organized in Turku University of Applied Sciences student union - TUO in cooperation with other student unions. Members of student unions travel 5€ cheaper than others!
12. How about some overall badges ?
Every overall needs new, funny, clever and unique badges. Badges need a designer and we need you. Send a photo of an overall badge designed by you to tapahtumat (at) laureamko.fi. The best badges will be made and designer will be rewarded with fame, glory, badges, movie tickest and free tickest to parties!
