Is the most important assett for the students! When you have the student card, you are able to enjoy all the benefits with just one card and also quickly ensure to others that you are a real student of Laurea University of Applied Sciences. The card is a sign of your membership in your student union LAUREAMKO, which most important task is to promote the interests of students of Laurea University of Applied Sciences.

With the student card you can get a lot of discounts from different places in Finland. A good thing to remember is to show it all the time and everywhere. You never know where they might give you a nice price. The card- and membership fee is only :6 € the card (new members) + 18 € semester fee = 24 €

LAUREAMKO comes to each of Laurea’s campuses at the beginning of the semester. Our stand is usually located at the lobby from 10.00 to14.00. You can come and ask us whatever comes to mind. We also sell overalls, overall badges, stickers to student card, tickets freshmen’s events after party, etc. So come over and say hello to the peeps from student union on your campuses OTR day.

 

Welcome to the Career and Recruitment Fair of the Universities of Applied Sciences in the Helsinki Metropolitan Area on Wednesday 2.2.2011 from 10am to 4pm. At the Helsinki Fair Centre you will find nearly 90 companies from diverse fields. You will also find CV workshops providing you with personal guidance in matters pertaining to your career and recruitment needs, as well as seminars on lots of interesting topics. The event is free of charge! Welcome!

 

Freshmen’s event, the biggest event for all the new students, starts on Wednesday 9th of February 16.30pm at Narinkkatori in Helsinki. You’ll be in for small assignments around the center of Helsinki and all sorts of fun activity with your own group and tutors. So gather up your starting group and arrive with your tutors to Narinkkatori. For more information turn to your tutors or send email to: tutor(at)laureamko.fi.

 

Freshers events afterpartys are in 9.2. in Onnela (Helsinki). Tickets with student card 4€ and

without 6€. Partys starts at 21.00. You can get tickets advance from LAUREAMKO office. Welcome!

Come and spend a funny and sweaty day with your friends and play some floorball. LAUREAMKO organizes floor ball tournament indoors at Liikuntamylly, Helsinki (Myllypurontie 1 ) on Thursday 10.3. The income is not checked when the aid is paid out, so you must make sure not to exceed the annual exempt amount. By cancelling or returning (by the end of March the following year) aid you can raise your exempt amount. If you exceed your exempt amount, you will be required to pay back the equivalent amount of Study Grant for Kela latest 31.3.
