1. Election renewal

The election for LAUREAMKOs council of representatives for the year 2010 will be renewed on Wednesday 11.11.2009 between 10 am and 14 pm in all Laurea units. The renewal of the elections is due to a technical error during the election proceedings, which has endangered the election results. The candidate lists and the candidates will remain the same and only the election occasion will be reheld. Come and vote to ensure that your candidate gets elected on Wednesday!

2. Clarification for the election for LAUREAMKOs council of representatives 4.11.2009

The election for LAUREAMKOs council of representatives will be renewed on Wednesday 11.11.2009 due to technical errors during the election proceeds. In this case technical error means imperfections of the election reports and the lack of rights to vote on these elections. The Central Election Committee stress that there where no deception during the election.

The errors endangered the election results so the Central Election Committee decided to nullify the current election.

The Committee has received multiple questions about the votes of the candidates and the results of the election. The results of the nullified election will not be announced because the Committee stopped counting votes when the errors were discovered. The nullified votes have been sealed for archives.

The Central Election Committee asks for patience, active voting and extra caution for the renewed election on next Wednesday.

3. International culture evening

4. Child rights day

20.11.2009 at 9.00 am to 14.00 pm in LAUREA OTANIEMI A lot of information about children rights. You can become knowledgable about organizations which stand for children rights and different ways to work and act with children. Come and listen to the expert of Unicef 10.00-10.45 am. Be there!

5. L.O.B 15.11. - Can you handle it?

Gather up your friends and go for a cruise on the Baltic sea 15.-17.11. on Silja Line. Previous record for participants is way over 1000, shall we better it this autumn?! You can choose from several different types and priced cabins and the prices are not high either!

Sign up starts 26.10.Age limit 20 years.

6. Designcompetition for new overall badges!

As of today you have the extraordinary possibility to participate in LAUREAMKOs Overall badge competition. You can design anything that you feel your overall is lacking!

There are two cathegories: a) a LAUREAMNKO badgeta that has to contain LAUREAMKOs logo b) an open cathegory - style, text and pictures are totally up to You.

In both cathegories the badge should fit the size 120mm x 120 mm but it can be any coulour or shape. The competition will continue until the 6th of December and all submissions should be sent to the adress ohjaus@laureamko.fi . You can participate in both cathegories or just one of them. There is no upper limit as to how manty submissions one contestant submits.

Winners will be notified personally. The winning submission will be produced and the winner will be rewarded with free movietickets and free admission to LAUREAMKOs AMK-club pasrties.
