1. LAUREAMKO on the road
LAUREAMKO comes twice to each of Laurea’s campuses at the beginning of the semester. Our stand is usually located at the lobby from 9.00 to14.00. You can come and ask us whatever comes to mind. We also sell overalls, overall badges, stickers to student card, tickets freshmens events afterparty, etc. So check your campuses OTR date from the calendar and come to say hello to the peeps from student union.
2. LAUREAMKO goes Back 2 School!
The Summer is over but the party is just starting! And the year will start big time in the bar Fredan Tivoli September 8th! Be there or you’ll miss the start ;) Tickets 3€, doors will open at 9 pm.
3. Freshmen’s event
Event for Laurea’s new students @ Kaisaniemi starting at 3pm. It’s the mindblowing adventure day in Helsinki where all new students compeat for the lordship of the freshmen. The point is to raise the spirits, have fun together and get to know new people. In the afterparty all new students will rock the house and party till 4 am. More information from tutors!
4. Autumn excursion to Espoo Central Park
Welcome to an excursion to admire the forests of Espoo Central Park getting their autumn colors on Sat 11.9. at 1 pm! We’ll walk a couple of kilometres and stop every now and then to discover the surrounding nature and to have a pick-nick. Meeting at Tuomarila train station at 1 pm and return to the same place by 4 pm.Bring your own pick-nick, camera and binoculars (if you like), and wear clothes and shoes according to the weather. Friends of nature speaking also other languages than Finnish are warmly welcome to join us. Please, let us know beforehand that you are coming: eny(at)luontoliitto.fi / tel: 046 6675946. 5. LAUREAMKO goes sports
LAUREAMKO is offering different kind of sports courses, for example zumba, latin dances, BodyFit and FlowGymnastics. There is also possibility to freetime playing indoors and also gyms where you can do some work out. Check more www.laureamko.fi –> Activities -> Sports NB! Meant for staff also!
6. LAUREAMKO goes culture
Come to enjoy culture: balett Swan Lake on October, musical Wicked on November and musical show Pink Noise by Fork on December. Ticket booking open NOW! NB! Meant for staff also!
7. Hang-out evening
Students’ non-alcoholic evening for hanging out together with board games, fabric painting (pring your own shirt, cloth bag, etc.), coffee and tea. Come along alone or together! Place: Laurea Otaniemi, Metsänpojankuja 3, Espoo. Time: Friday 10.9.2010 at 17-21
8. Street basket and football –tournaments
Welcome to play! Street basket 17.9. and football 30.9. at Leppävaara sports park. More info www.laureamko.fi: gather your team and sign up! There are series for Pro and Less-Pro, so no excuses :o)
9. Recycling spot at LAUREAMKO Leppävaara
Good stuff for free, for example glass, cups, pots, blankets, pillows, bedsheets, towels. Open when Leppävaara office is open. Welcome!
