LAUREAMKO’s board consists of a President, a Vice President and other members.The board’s first task is to protect the interests of students. This is done by maintaining an active contact with Laurea and with LAUREAMKO’s interest groups. In addition, the board looks after student welfare by organising events, trips, fitness opportunities, etc. In year 2011 LAUREAMKO's board looks like this:

I'm Satu Sileekangas and I'm studying physiotherapy in Otaniemi. Next year I'm the president of the board. Some of my responsibilities is to represent LAUREAMKO and manage the board and general secretary. If you have any questions about LAUREAMKO, please contact me.

I am Anette Karlsson and I'm studying social servises in Hyvinkää. In year 2011 I am the vice president and I am in charge of educational affairs in LAUREAMKOs board. My name is Jani Liukkonen and I am the international representative of LAUREAMKO. Some of my duties include for example training new international tutors, tutoring exchange students and organizing events for them. I can be contacted in all kinds of matters and problems. I’m not here to deal with foreign affairs only but you can contact me regarding anything and I will help you as best as I can.

I’m Laura Wuolanne, 24 year’s old student from Espoo. I’m studying business and this is my second year in Laurea Leppävaara. Next year, as a member of the student board of Laurea my responsibility is communication, which incluedes for example LAUREAMKO's webpages and bulletin.

My name is Janne Sivunen. I'm studying business management in Laurea University of Applied Sciences in Leppävaara faculty, this is my sophomore year. I spend my spare time playing the drums in a rock band called Collarbone. My fields of responsibility in the Laurea student board in the year 2011 are culture and recreational events. My name is Juho Isohanni and I am the tutor representative in the board of LAUREAMKO. You might come across me in the offices of LAUREAMKO or the hallways of Laurea Leppävaara since I'm a second year student in information technology. My responsibilities includes the training of the new tutors as well as guiding and supervising them. So practically, my job is to take care that Laurea will have as good tutors in the future as there have been in the past. I'm Riina Salmi, a fourth year student of socialwork and creative methods at Tikkurila. During all my studies I have been part of LAUREAMKO, at local unit of Tikkurila, tutoring, at council of representatives and now it's time for the board. I am responsible about social politics, so my job is to take care of students welfare, for example improving livelihoods, housing, health care, transportation and sports services for students. My name is Joni Prokkola and I'm a first year student in Laurea Leppävaara Hospitality management. I'm 22 years old and though this is my first year in Hospitality management I've been studying Business management in Otaniemi for the past two years but decided that it wasn't for me. I haven't been really active before this year but now I'm an international tutor and also a member of LAUREAMKO board and in charge of business and interest groups. Meaning contacting businesses and interest groups falls upon me!

Hi my name is Antti! Or how do they present themselves at a AA meeting? Anywho i'm 24 and study information technology (which is not actually information technology at all but rather something totally else) at Kerava. I have been trusted with the leadership of LAUREAMKO's local units for the year 2011. I hereby humbly accept this responsibility and pledge alliance to the flag of LAUREAMKO!
