Sport greetings!

What are you planning to do this fall?? Got some leftover kilos from last summer? Forgot to sign-up for the great exercise courses that LAUREAMKO organizes and now you’re left all alone at home to sit around? No way, Jose! Let’s go to the gym!!! Start using the school’s gym or take part in the courses. Or another alternative is to read my review on EasyFit-gym where I’m going to go for two more times and it’s dirt-cheap! All because of LAUREAMKO!
Next we have some bad news; The Sports Secretary of LAUREAMKO Lia Strandberg is leaving us. Thank you Lia for having been with us, supporting us and gotten us quality albeit mad-cheap sport courses! You’ve deserved a round of applause. Also a great deal of thanks goes to Lia’s predecessor Merja Miettinen who acted as a well-being secretary. She has been improving LAUREAMKO’s sport matters and the well-being of our student between the years 2009-2010.
But now I have to tell a piece of good news just to make the hamburger model complete (good-bad-good); the badminton club has started finally! On the first time there weren’t that many people but for next Thursday there’s bound to be at least three players! Reciting a famous Finnish band Mamba really loosely; There’s still space, you could find a badminton mate. For more information on badminton club, check the LAUREAMKO web pages.
EasyFit-gym in Tikkurila
A few weeks back I started a really cheap four-time gym course organised by LAUREAMKO at EasyFit gym. In addition to me, only one student of Laurea had signed up for the course. It’s a shame because the course is a really good deal when comparing quality/price.
The great thing about EasyFit is the clean premises and the no stress atmosphere from which the latter might be derived from that fact the there aren’t too much crowd. The gym entrepreneur Miikka Toivonen tours around the premises chatting with the clients. He left me with the feeling that this is a place where good customer service is around without disturbing the client.
The gym uses electronic keys for lockers but you can also save your own, personal exercise programme on them. After saving, all you need to do is stick the key into the machine and it starts to guide, supervise and save your exercising. The gym also has a possibility to do spinning and lift weights in a traditional way.
To go to the gym you need to sign-up for membership but it doesn’t require you to commit yourself for a long period of time. You can take the membership for one month at a time if you want.
